Treatments

We believe in the importance of continuing education to provide you with the best care and treatment. Our physiotherapists are constantly developing their skills, and mainly use the treatments listed below.

Manual therapy

Manual therapy is used to treat musculoskeletal disorders by mobilizing joints and restoring normal physiological movement, reducing pain, tension and spasm, and restoring function. Scientific studies have confirmed the effectiveness of manual therapy. Manual therapy is used to treat every joint in the body.

Physiotherapy treatment with osteopathic and myofascial approach

The osteopathic approach is gentle and holistic, characterized by gentle artificial mobilization, cranial mobilization and tensioning of the myofascial system. Cranial mobilization corrects neural and sutural restrictions of the skull bones, to treat headaches, migraines and concussions, among others. Myofascial mobilization can be performed locally or globally, restoring functional mobility to all regions of the body.

Vestibular rehabilitation

A series of individualized maneuvers and exercise programs designed to treat symptoms. These maneuvers and exercises re-educate basic vestibular reflexes to reduce or eliminate dizziness and vertigo, improve balance and restore function.

Physiotherapy punctures with dry needles

Dry needling treatment (acupuncture needles) effectively complements other physiotherapy treatments, as it helps quickly relieve injuries related to inflammation in muscles and ligaments. The needles also have the advantage of reaching areas that are difficult to treat manually. Only physiotherapists accredited by the OPPQ are authorized to offer this treatment.
